Spartan First is committed to the continuous empowerment of Indigenous communities, through ensuring access to high quality health provision, pathways for sustainable employment and “Closing the Gap” initiatives.
Our experience in working within mainstream primary health, as well as specialised Indigenous primary and allied health initiatives enables as to highlight commonalities as well as acknowledging the gap that exists in both access and outcomes for Indigenous people. Our ability to work sensitively and effectively, adjusting delivery to respond to identified needs is a strength of our organisation and enables us to provide health care to all in an effective, efficient and wholistic manner.
At Spartan First we incorporate a contemporary, culturally responsive service delivery of health care provision, targeting service to identified areas of need, whilst empowering communities with choice, quality health care, and career pathways. We understand that culture is key to health and healing and is a critical intervention pathway, with cultural contact integral to the delivery of health care and core to the development and implementation of an Indigenous health strategy.
